This was a fun, eclectic class – we had ourselves an Eggcellent day indeed!
The project we created was a VERY useful Swivel Caddy (so useful in fact, that I have made 2 already and plan on another 2 at least!), and as Easter is just around the corner, we simply had to spoil the ladies with some colourful Easter fun.
I loved this swivel caddy so much I also joined the class and made another one for my creative desk. This was the project for the day
We always like to spoil our ladies, so each lady received a handmade Easter bag filled with speckled eggs, which I nestled in the cutest little wooden picket fence crate box. I also found some Bunny Ears which I simply HAD to add to their hamper!
I simply adore the faux turf in the bottom of the baskets!
It’s always fun to see the studio come together before a themed class.
Then I had loads of fun setting up the studio with Easter decorations!
A theme is always so exciting to work from, and the beautiful Easter colour pallete is a great base!
We had to have LOADS of Easter eggs available for the ladies to much on during the course of the day.
Thanks Cilla for my GORGEOUS tulips – they are beautiful!!!
A little ‘kick’ – I saw this on Pinterest and had to give it a try! Easter eggs on each station filled with Tiramasu liqueur. Helpful tip: make sure the egg doesn’t have a hole in the bottom too!!!
So I had the day off from baking and cooking for this class – BIG thanks to B for the awesome Meringues which she served with fresh cream and strawberries – very yum!
Always up for a laugh! Pam doing her best Easter Bunny impression – very impressive Mrs Hunter – you nailed it!
Bunny ears on and we got stuck into some serious crafting fun.
Pam provided a delicious lunch for all us gals – so yummy in fact, we may need to do a recipe card for this one! Thanks Pam!!!
Brenda provided the pud – home made Creme Brulee’s. Even torched on site just for us!
Happy crafters with their completed projects – they really did turn out beautifully! GREAT job ladies!
If you haven’t tried your hand at the Finnabair paints and waxes, then I really urge you to give them a bash! There is such an awesome collection of colours available and the quality of the pigment and product is outstanding!
